Supervison Policy
Aged Under 4 = 1 Adult to 1 Child
Aged 4 - 7 Years = 1 Adult to 2 Children
Aged 8 - 11= Must be under adult supervision, we do reccomend 1 adult to 4 children aged between 8-11+ where possible.
1. Bookings & Payment
All private hire swimming pool sessions must be booked in advance. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure the session. Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received. Sandpearl does not accept provisional or unpaid bookings.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the booking may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the booking are non-refundable.
Failure to attend a booked session will result in the full hire fee being charged.
Sandpearl reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to maintenance issues or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
3. Arrival & Session Times
Guests must arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled session and must vacate the pool area promptly at the end of the allocated time. Late arrival will not extend the session duration.
4. Pool Use & Safety
All users must comply with pool safety rules and follow staff instructions at all times.
Non-swimmers and weak swimmers must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the pool.
Running, diving, rough play, or unsafe behaviour is strictly prohibited.
Sandpearl reserves the right to end a session early if safety rules are not followed. No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
5. Capacity & Age Restrictions
Maximum bather numbers must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
Age restrictions apply depending on the session type and must be adhered to.
6. Inflatables & Equipment
Inflatables and pool equipment are provided for enjoyment and must be used responsibly.
All inflatables and equipment remain the property of Sandpearl and must not be removed from the premises.
Any damage or loss caused through misuse may be charged to the booking holder.
7. Food & Drink
No food or drink may be brought onto the premises unless supplied by Sandpearl.
Any food provided must be consumed in designated areas only.
8. Health & Hygiene
All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
Anyone suffering from a contagious illness, open wounds, or gastrointestinal symptoms must not use the pool.
Babies and toddlers must wear appropriate swim nappies at all times.
9. Personal Belongings
Sandpearl accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought onto the premises.
10. Right to Refuse Entry
Sandpearl reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a session if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By booking and/or participating in a private hire swimming pool session at Sandpearl, the booking holder and all participants acknowledge and agree that:
Swimming and pool activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, injury, or drowning.
Participation is entirely at the individual’s own risk.
Sandpearl, its owners, employees, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death arising from the use of the pool facilities, except where caused by proven negligence.
The booking holder accepts full responsibility for all participants within their booking, including children and guests.
This waiver applies to the fullest extent permitted by UK law.
By completing a booking, the booking holder confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the Liability Waiver on behalf of themselves and all participants.
